Who needs an admission?
- Workshops and facilities carrying out or subcontracting non destructive testing on safety-relevant components as part of the maintenance work of railway vehicles
- Test service provider, carrying out non destructive testing on safety-relevant components as part of the maintenance work of railway vehicles (non-destructive testing in the industry sector railway maintenance according to DIN EN 473)
How does the admission process work?
Extract from the DGZfP (German Society for Non-Destructive Testing) guideline ISB 02 „Procedure description of the admission of a workshop for carrying out non-destructive tests according to DIN 27201-7“:
Flowchart of the admission procedure:
- Quotation request to an accredited competent authorized department (FzS) (with annex 1);
- Preparation of the offer by the FzS considering the scope of non-destructive tests to be carried out in the NDT-test center (number of test methods applied, inspection personnel, places) on the basis of
evidence presented or
after an initial survey of the NDT-test center ; - Placement of the order for implementing the inspectin of the NDT-test center;
- Order confirmation by the FzS and assignment of the auditors, allocation of a registration number and registration on the online register of the DGZfP
- Preparing and revising by handing over a checklist to the NDT-test center;
- Check of the documents by the FzS with the help of the filled out check list;
- Technical supervision of t he NDT-test center by the FzS, including a final consultation and identifying corrective actions;
- Preparation of the audit report by the FzS (auditors);
- After fulfillment of the corrective actions: admission of the NDT-test center and issuing of the certification document;
- Invoicing and publication of the certification document in the online register oft he DGZfP.
