We are an independent, medium-sized company and supply highly specialised testing and engineering services for all industrial branches. With our range of offers, we competently and helpfully support all developers and manufacturers, starting from product development, to market launch and finally up to quality control and maintenance during the lifecycle.

Our history

• Foundation of RST GmbH on 01. April 2003 by Mr. Gert Schmidt.

• Start of business operations on 01. July 2003 through the transfer of staff from the BT-group into the RST and the purchase of technical equipment for carrying out tests in the fields of static and dynamic strength, environmental simulation, calibration of mechanical and electrical measuring equipment, material analyses and determination of material properties, as well as flame behavior and combustibility.

• In contrast to what has been a one-side focus on BT-oriented test services, attention is increasingly being paid to the international transport market, including automotive industry, from the end of 2004.

• In 2007/2008 the product portfolio was expanded to all branches of industry including photovoltaic industry.

• We are constantly investing in test equipment and human resources development with the result to have 35 full-time employees now, test tasks going far beyond the transport market and  with a turnover of approximately  EUR 3-3,5 million per year.
